What is the difference between a rescue and a hybrid?

Nothing. Rescue is TaylorMade's name for a hybrid. Other brands call the same club a hybrid or a utility. They all do the same job, which is replacing a long iron with something easier to launch.

Which iron should a rescue replace?

Match the loft. A 19 degree rescue replaces a 3 iron, 22 degrees replaces a 4 iron and 25 degrees replaces a 5 iron. If in doubt, bring your set in and we will check the gaps.
