PLD Milled Putters

Firing low scores requires holing putts! And, for decades, many of golf’s best players have trusted PING putters en route to winning the game’s biggest championships. PING PLD (Putting Lab Design) Milled Putters is a collection of four tour-validated models each offering very golfer a premium level of precision and detail.

The four PLD Milled Putter models include: industry-leading favourites Anser and Anser 2, newer edition Prime Tyne 4 and tour-inspired DS72, which is the choice of world No. 3 Viktor Hovland.

The premium looking range is crafted from a solid block of forged, 303 stainless steel. Technicians dedicate many of hours to precisely shape every surface and radius of each putter.

PING adopted a precision-milled face patter known as aggressive milling pattern, which delivers exceptional feel off the putter face and reliable speed control. AMP is inspired tour players who require consistent performances on the green.

All models feature PING’s proven perimeter-weighting theories to deliver forgiveness and control for more accuracy. The four model options ensure there is a PLD Milled Putter option to best suit your stroke and eye.

Anser and Anser 2 are a blade style putter type and best fit a stroke path with a slight arc. The timeless Anser, which boasts a stunning matte-black finish and rounded corners, makes squaring the face to the target line easy. The clean-looking Anser 2 includes a slightly longer and narrower profile than Anser. It contains sharper corners and is marked with a center alignment line. Prime Tyne 4 offers a distinctive design with a flow neck hosel. The mallet-style flatstick promotes a balanced look at address and is highly forgiving and accurate. It is best suited to a stroke path with a strong arc. And, DS72, used by multi-tour winner Viktor Hovland, presents clean lines. It features perpendicular and parallel visual cues to simplify alignment. The mid-mallet style putter contains a double-bend shaft that best fits a straight stroke path.
