The GTS line is not a good-better-best ladder. GTS2, GTS3 and GTS4 are three different answers to three different problems, and the numbers describe the head, not the ranking. Pick the wrong one and you leave distance on the tee. Pick the right one and you distance yourself from everyone else. Here is how to tell them apart.

Before the differences, the common ground. Every GTS head is built on the same structural platform, and it is worth understanding because it is where the "longest and straightest ever" claim comes from.
The Split Mass Frame is the headline. A full thermoform body lets Titleist push weight back for stability and forward for speed at the same time, rather than trading one against the other. The Speed Sync Face uses strategic reinforcement to hold ball speed on off-centre strikes, which is the difference between a good miss and a lost fairway. And Accelerated Aerodynamics, via a more pronounced raised tail, cuts drag for free swing speed.
GTS2: speed with maximum stability
The one most golfers should be hitting. If you want added power and consistency without thinking hard about a fitting, GTS2 makes maximum forgiveness faster by distributing weight to amplify speed and stability together.

The construction pushes distance and forgiveness to extremes at the same time, generating consistent performance from every impact point. It carries the SureFit Hosel and a Dual Weighting System so a fitter can match the centre of gravity to your swing, but the point of GTS2 is that it works beautifully straight out of the box.
Max forgiveness, taken farther. If you're not sure which GTS you are, you're probably a GTS2.
GTS3: speed with optimised precision
For the player who wants to take command. GTS3 is Titleist's most adjustable driver ever, built for golfers who want control over speed and ball flight rather than a set-and-forget head.

What sets it apart is the Expanded SureFit Adjustability. For the first time in a Titleist driver, an adjustable SureFit CG Track combines with the Dual Weighting System and SureFit Hosel to give Tour-level command over launch, speed, stability and direction. It is precision-tuned for the explosive distance and consistency that puts you in scoring position, but it rewards a golfer who will actually use a fitting to dial it in.
GTS4: speed with maximum spin reduction
The specialist. If you lose distance to high spin, GTS4 is the aggressive spin-killer, now more forgiving than a low-spin head has any right to be thanks to a larger 460cc profile.

It delivers the penetrating flight of ultra-low-spin performance in a bigger, more stable head, and like GTS3 it carries the expanded SureFit CG Track for control over launch and ball flight. This is not a driver for everyone. But for a fast swinger fighting a ballooning flight, nothing else in the range comes close.
Don't forget the fairways
The GTS story does not end at the driver. The fairway range splits the same way: GTS2 suits shallower, sweeping swings, while GTS3 rewards a steeper, more descending attack. The notable addition this year is a 21° 7-wood, a genuinely useful club for holding long par fours and reachable par fives.
So which one?
The honest short version. Choose GTS2 if you want the most forgiveness and the least fuss, which covers most golfers. Choose GTS3 if you're a better player who wants to fine-tune launch and flight. Choose GTS4 only if high spin is measurably costing you distance.
None of that replaces the one thing that actually decides it, which is numbers on a launch monitor. Every GTS head is fitted with the same shafts from Graphite Design, including the new Tour AD VF, and the same precise SureFit system, so the head is only half the equation. The other half is the fitting.
