SM9 T Grind Wedge
Titleist proudly releases the tour-popular Vokey Design SM9 T Grind wedge to the wider golfing community. Engineered by master craftsman Bob Vokey, T Grind is a low bounce wedge adopted by many of the game’s best players including Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Will Zalatoris and Cameron Smith. Aussie Smith used the T Grind lob wedge en route to his historic victory at the 150th Open Championship at St Andrews. T Grind is the seventh grind in the SM9 family.
SM9 T Grind is ideally suited to golfers seeking a low bounce wedge for firm playing conditions who attack impact with a shallow and precise delivery. Its aggressive heel, toe and trailing edge grind allows the leading edge to hug the ground, especially on open-faced shots and tight lies for the ultimate shot-making versatility.
SM9 wedges feature progressive center of gravity technology to help golfers achieve accurate distance control and trajectory. Engineers moved the center of gravity vertically by increasing weight to the topline design. This center of gravity position promotes solid contact for a more controlled ball flight. Vokey developed a new Spin Milled process to deliver maximum spin in the SM9 models. The patented treatment includes tightening the allowable tolerances to create consistently sharper grooves for reliable spin.
