Stealth UDI & DHY
TaylorMade launch their latest additions to its Stealth family—welcome to UDI and DHY, they are the models Ultimate Driving Iron and Superior Driving Hybrid.
For years, TaylorMade had led the market with new technologies producing impressive products to fill the gap in a golfer’s bag between their shortest fairway wood and their longest iron. Stealth UDI and DHY are the brand’s newest groundbreaking clubs designed to produce ball flight characteristics to fit the need of golfers.
UDI and DHY contain TaylorMade’s proven Thru-Slot Speed Pocket technology, which offers more face flexibility while maintaining exceptional ball speed and distance on low face strikes. The brand’s SpeedFoam AIR component has been re-engineered to be 69% less dense and therefore lighter than in previous models. Engineers moved the weight saved to the head design. This redistribution of weight further optimises mass properties to deliver improved launch conditions. The new SpeedFoam AIR offers a pure feel off the clubface and a sweet sound at impact. Both stunning clubs feature an ultra thin forged 4140 face with Inverted Cone Technology. This body construction produces a flexible clubface with an ample sweet spot to for explosive distance, improved forgiveness and greater playability. Like the rest of the Stealth family, UDI and DHY feature a slight hint of red in the design theme. The smart-looking clubs display a high buff black area on the toe and a mirror chrome polish on the sole.
Stealth UDI offers the blend of control and versatility and is a powerful option from either the tee or the fairway. The tour-inspired shaped club has a narrower sole width (compared to DHY), to suit the eye of better ball-strikers. UDI delivers a low launch with mid-to-low spin and offers more forgiveness compared to standard long irons. Stealth UDI is available in 18°, 20° and 23° for right-handed golfers and 18° and 20° for left-handed golfers.
Stealth DHY contains a lower profile head with a wider sole shape and cambered sole for more playability. DHY uses weigh placement in the sole to create a low center of gravity making it easier to launch than a traditional iron. DHY is available in 17°, 19°, 22° and 25° for right-handed golfers and 19° and 22° for left-handed golfers.
