TaylorMade has rolled out their new Spider Tour Series. The impressive range of premium putters includes four models—Spider Tour, Spider Tour X, Spider Tour Z and Spider Tour V.
Spider Tour Series includes refined hosel designs with two different hosel shapes. The small slant design produces toe hang. The double bend design produces a face balanced putter.
The putter face of the Spider Tour Series delivers a soft feel due to TaylorMade’s vastly successful white TPU Pure Roll insert which is made up of a combination of Surlyn and aluminium. The face contains grooves angled at 45 degrees to optimise forward roll and overall roll characteristics. The superior white insert creates a better symmetry with the white True Path alignment system used by the Series. The patented alignment aid allows players the visual clarity to improve their set up to the putting line they have chosen.
Spider Tour Series also features a steel wireframe. This allowed engineers to best control weight distribution and the location of the putters centre of gravity. A thin wall undercut construction was adopted to remove excess weight while producing a super stable product. A HYBAR Echo Dampener is positioned behind the face to soften any unwanted vibrations and to produce a great sound and feel on every putt. The Spider Series Putters are ideally weighted for superior performance with the use of TSS weighting. And, all four Spider Tour Series putters include a durable gunmetal PVD casing for a stunning high-quality finish.
