TaylorMade P790 Irons
TaylorMade launches its all-new P 790 irons. The new generation are crafted for excellence, and designed to deliver mid-high launch and mid-low spin. The latest model boasts an array of enhancements.
The new generation P 790 enjoys a larger sweet spot. Engineers employed a more responsive face with new internal shaping to produce a bigger strike zone. The enlarged sweet spot ensures consistent ball speeds and improved accuracy across more shots.
TaylorMade sought to improve the playability of the longer irons while maximising control for the scoring clubs/ shorter irons. That pursuit led to precise mass distribution in each iron. Technically termed ‘FLTD CG’ within the TM development team, the center of gravity is strategically placed lowest in the long irons and progressively sited higher throughout the set. Individual mass optimisation is another feature of the new P 790 model to achieve optimal performance for every club. This involves a thick-thin back wall construction and AI technologies to design each iron with its own mass properties for better shotmaking.
TaylorMade’s proven technologies such as L-Face and Speed Pocket have been combined with a new internal weighting make up that allow P 790 to produce optimal launch, more forgiveness and greater consistency.
And, the 2023 P 790 offers players the ultimate forged iron feel with its all-new internal sound stabilisation bar used in combination with TaylorMade’s ultra light SpeedFoam Air technology.
