P700 Series Irons
TaylorMade has taken the brands popular P·700 Series irons to new levels of performance with the exciting launch of the all-new P·770, P·7MC and P·7MB models.
P·770 is an elegant-looking iron featuring tour-inspired shaping including a thin topline, is less offset and has a shorter blade length. The compact design contains TaylorMade’s widely acclaimed Thru-Slot Speed Pocket to increase ball speed across the entire face and provide even more forgiveness on low face ball strikes. P·770 boasts TaylorMade’s patented FLTD CG technology, which promotes consistency and control throughout every iron. The intuitive concept strategically positions the center of gravity lowest in the long irons and progressively moves it higher throughout the set to the short irons. This clever crafting makes it easier to launch longer irons, while maximising the control and spin in the shorter irons. P·770 also includes Speed Foam Air technology to reduce vibrations at impact for a crisp sound and sweet feel.
P·7MC has been meticulously built to meet the performance expectations of golf’s best ball strikers. The tour-inspired model boasts a clean look at address to suit the eye of the game’s most astute players. The classically shaped iron features a thin topline with minimal offset and perimeter weighting and contains a narrow sole with a tight leading edge to deliver consistency at impact through the turf. P·7MC irons are built using a 2,000-ton press, which produces a tighter, more compact grain structure with fewer defects. The brand’s very own Compact Grain Forging process, that uses more than double the industry standard of pressure, offers golfers the most solid and consistent feel imaginable.
P·7MB is designed with strong input from Rory McIlroy and Collin Morikawa. The major winning TaylorMade brand ambassadors went through rigorous testing with their feedback the driving force behind the exciting shaping of this ‘ball-strikers’ model. P·7MB contains a shorter blade length, new sole geometry with the right bounce and is progressively offset to deliver surgical control and precision shot-making. The cotemporary-looking iron delivers muscle back iron performance with Faceted Muscle Back Geometry allowing more mass to be positioned directly behind the face. P·7MB features the Compact Grain Forging process applied in P·7MC.
