Min Woo Lee Wins For The First Time In Two Years

Australia’s Min Woo Lee returned to the winner’s circle at the Asian Tour’s SJM Macao Open. It was the 25-year-old’s first win worldwide since the Scottish Open in July 2021.

Lee, ranked 46 in the world, entered the week as the marquee player. And, the Western Australian lived up to his billing producing an exceptional wire-to-wire victory by two shots with a remarkable 30-under total. Lee’s scores of 62, 64, 65 and 63 at Macao Golf and Country Club set a new tournament record. Lee posted just two bogeys all week en route to earning the winner’s cheque of US$180,000.

Thailand’s Pool Saksanin finished solo second at 28-under after firing a bogey-free final round 9-under 63. Phachara Khongwatmai from Thailand claimed outright third place at 20-under after his final round 64.
