Butt-Out
Power Position
Good posture is vital in order to swing the club with maximum clubhead speed.

To establish a sound forward tilt toward the ground, bend forward from the hips until your shoulders hang in line with your toes. Stick your butt out as if you were sitting at a barstool. This position will straighten your spine, which will allow you to make a full shoulder turn. The ‘butt-out’ position also helps to place you the correct distance from the ball enabling your arms to hang freely and without tension.

AVOID...
If your back is rounded, this limits the amount of rotation in your swing.

TRY THIS...
Grab a club, hold the shaft to your back so that the grip-end sits on your tailbone. Ensure the shaft stays in contact with your back.
