PT Series Putters
Is one of your New Year’s resolutions the desire to hole more putts? If so, check out the new Carbite PT Series putters—with four custom fit flatsticks in the range, you’re sure to find the right putter to best suit your game.
Carbite PT Series includes the models PT334, 335, 336 and 337. Each model has its own distinct shape. PT334 features a plumber’s neck hosel with a moderate toe hang and is ideal for golfers who stroke their putts with a slight arc. PT335 boasts a slant neck hosel with a strong toe hang, which best suits golfers with a strong putting arc. PT336 is a center-shafted option with a face balanced toe hang. The mallet style putter is great for golfers with a straight back and through putting stroke. And, PT337 is a slant neck putter with a moderate toe hand shape. This works for golfers with a slight arc putting stroke.
Built from 304 stainless steel, Carbite PT Series features Micro Groove Technology. The interwoven face pattern greatly improves forward roll and reduces skidding off the clubface. Three PT Series models contain dual sight lines. PT334, 335 & 337 display top and bottom sight lines to ensure the putter head is set square to the target line. This also promotes matching the lie angle of the putter correctly.
Carbite PT Series putters are custom fit for success. The company’s fitting story includes custom length putters and the use of interchangeable weights. PT Series putters can be built at 32" - 36". Building putters to length is important in ensuring players roll their ball on target by matching their swing arc with the lie angle at address. (For right handed putters), a putter that is too long causes a lie angle that is too upright, which promotes the putter aiming left of the target line. A putter that is too short, creates a lie angle that is too flat meaning the putter will aim right of the target line. PT Series comes standard with 2 x 5gram weights. However, weight kits are available with 2 x -10gram, 15gram and 20gram weights. The interchangeable weights present golfers the option to use a weight setting with the best balance for their game or playing conditions. A heavier putter offers more control on short putts, less face rotation and best suits golfers who use their bigger muscles during their putting stroke. A light putter provides more control on longer putts and is easier to swing.
