The new Supersoft features Callaway’s new hybrid cover with innovative PARALOID. Made by The Dow Chemical Company, one of the largest chemical produces in the world, PARALOID is an acrylic based impact modifier that is designed to provide excellent impact resistance. This development in golf ball design allowed Callaway to create a highly versatile, multi-material cover that is durable and promotes high launch, outstanding control and soft feel.
Callaway says the nucleus for faster ball speeds with Supersoft arrives from its high-speed soft compression core. This allowed company engineers to maximise energy transfer for increased ball speed, high launch and low spin in longer clubs
