Job Details

Drummond Golf is Australia’s biggest golf retailer carrying all the major brands and providing a one-stop-shop for all your golfing needs. Our Shellharbour superstore is looking for a highly motivated and hands on Store Manager to assist in performing the day-to-day operations under direct guidance from the Franchisee.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Assist the Franchisee in the day to day operations of the store
  • Drive and exceed sales targets and budgets and help to mentor and train casual staff
  • Assist the Franchisee with stock management
  • Undertake regular rolling stock takes
  • Take ownership of the housekeeping chart and drive this with staff
  • Assist with local marketing initiatives including local store eNews emails and in-store competitions
  • Ensure all store ticketing is up-to-date
  • Be responsible for the store when the Franchisee is away

  • Has a dynamic and energetic personality and loves dealing with people
  • Has extensive retail and selling skills (retail store management experience essential)
  • Has a strong customer focus with outstanding customer service skills
  • Has a passion for golf and loves staying up-to-date with what’s current in terms of golfing equipment and products
  • Has the ability to achieve sales targets
  • Has the ability to lead a sale team
  • Enjoys working in a team based environment
  • Is available to work weekends
  • Is a great listener
  • Truly believes the customer always comes first
