2022 TOUR Championship
Rory McIlroy lit up East Lake Golf Club with a superb display of golf winning the PGA Tour’s season-ending TOUR Championship. The victory earned the 33-year-old from Northern Ireland the lucrative US$18 million bonus for claiming the FedExCup. It is the third time the Ulsterman has collected the season-long series.
McIlroy rallied from as many as eleven shots behind the leader midway through the second round to claim the title by one shot over world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and Korea’s Sungjae Im.
McIlroy posted rounds of 67, 67, 63 and 66 to reach 21-under.
