KH Lee

2021 AT&T Byron Nelson

KH Lee won the AT&T Byron Nelson to claim his maiden PGA Tour victory. He scored a comfortable three-shot win over American Sam Burns.

The 29-year-old Korean poured in 28 birdies for the week to rank second in the field at TPC Craig Ranch for most birdies. After starting the final round one shot behind third round leader Burns, Lee posted eight birdies on Sunday in his 6-under 66 to reach 25-under for the event. Lee went 51 holes without a bogey in a stretch from the 11th hole on Thursday through to the 9th hole on Sunday.

Lee ranked T5 in the field for the week in Greens in Regulation (80.56%). And, he ranked No. 6 in Putts Per Green in Regulation (1.60).

The win in Texas earns Lee a place at next week’s PGA Championship. It will be his third start at a major championship.

With his win, Lee jumped 55 places to 29th in the FedExCup standings.
