Duke Scores Milestone 25th Champions Win For Tour Edge

Tour Edge staff player Ken Duke scored his maiden PGA TOUR Champions victory at the Shaw Charity Classic in Canada. The emotional win came in the 54-year-old’s 100th start on the Champions Tour. Duke overcame fellow Tour Edge staff player Tim Petrovic and Thailand’s Thongchai Jaidee by one shot.

Duke’s clutch performance gives Tour Edge staff players three wins in the last five PGA TOUR Champions events after Bernhard Langer claimed the US Senior Open and Alex Cejka collected the Senior Open Championship. The US-based brand boasts 25 wins and 39 runner-up results on the PGA TOUR Champions since 2018. Currently, three players ranked in the Top 10 on the Charles Schwab Cup standings and seven ranked in the Top 40 are playing Tour Edge gear. The premium golf club manufacturer also owns 11 victories on the PGA Tour.

Duke, who officially joined Tour Edge in 2021, fired rounds of 66, 64 and 66 at Canyon Meadows Golf & Country Club to reach 14-under. The former PGA Tour member with one title on that tour (2013 Travelers Championship) made a sensational birdie at the final hole for victory.

Duke banks the first place prize cheque of US$360,000 and moves up to No. 21 on the season-long Charles Schwab Cup standings.
