Bryson DeChambeau

2021 Arnold Palmer Invitational

Bryson DeChambeau scored his eighth PGA Tour title after claiming the Arnold Palmer Invitational. He overcame England’s Lee Westwood by one shot at Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Florida.

DeChambeau is nicknamed ‘The Scientist’ due to his analytical approach to his game. The 27-year-old, who boasts a college major in physics, carries a unique make up of clubs in his bag.

DeChambeau is the first player on the PGA Tour to adopt the single-length concept with his Cobra King One Length irons cut to exactly the same measurement. Ten years ago, he switched to JumboMax Grips. These are the thickest grips commercially available.

Last season, he became the longest driver on the PGA Tour after gaining 40 pounds in mass. Unsurprisingly, this week at Bay Hill, DeChambeau led the stats in driving distance (321.3 average). His recorded the longest drive from the field over the four rounds when he ripped a 377-yard rocket off the sixth tee on Sunday.

Here’s a look at what is in his bag.
