Tiger Woods Back In Surgery

Tiger Woods Back In Surgery

Tiger Woods recently endured his fifth back surgery to eliminate nerve pain caused by a pressurised disk fragment. According to reports, doctors predicted 45-year-old Woods would enjoy a full recovery.

Woods too is positive about his immediate playing future, “I look forward to begin training and am focused on getting back out on Tour,” the 15-time Major Champion said in a statement.

Woods last victory on the PGA Tour was in October 2019 at the Zozo Championship. The win was his 82nd PGA Tour title and he tied Sam Snead with the most all-time victories on that tour.

The latest spinal surgery halts Woods quest for a historic 83rd PGA Tour title. He is likely to be out of action for at least two months.

The five-time Masters champion is hopeful of making a bid for a record equalling sixth victory at Augusta in April.
