Ripper GC Enjoy Back-To Back LIV Team Titles. Koepka Wins LIV Singapore
Cam Smith and his teammates at Ripper Golf Club have earned a second LIV Golf team victory in as many weeks. The all-Aussie foursome won LIV Singapore at Sentosa Golf Club by three shots with a superb 32-under tally. Ripper GC, which includes Smith, Marc Leishman, Lucas Herbert and Matt Jones, was successful last week at LIV Adelaide winning in a playoff. The team emerges as a contender for the season-long Team title moving into third place on the overall standings behind Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC and Jon Rahm’s Legion XIII.
Brooks Koepka took out the individual title winning LIV Singapore by two shots over Smith and Leishman. The 34-year-old American posted a 3-under 68 final round to reach 15-under. It was his fourth career LIV individual title to add to his five major championships. Koepka will defend his PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club starting on May 16.
Smith and Leishman finished at 13-under. Smith produced the equal lowest round on Sunday with a stunning 7-under 64. Leishman carded a 5-under 66
Joaquin Niemann leads the individual season standings with Rahm in second place.
LIV Golf returns to US soil for LIV Houston starting June 07.
